And when peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus… Matthew 14:29.   In Matthew14, Jesus walked on water and showed us something remarkable about the life of faith; the life of the Spirit we have been called to live. When His disciples saw Him walking on water, they were scared, thinking He was a ghost. However, Jesus allayed their fears and said,”…it is I; be not afraid” Matthew 14:27. When Peter heard the master’s voice, he spoke up,”…Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water” Matthew 14:28. Jesus obliged and said, “come.”   Peter stepped out of the boat and walked on the water to meet Jesus. Shortly afterwards, Peter began to drown in the water when he saw the raging tempest; fear gripped his heart and that dissipated his faith.   Walking on the water is a life of the Spirit where you don’t consider anything else but the word of God.
