Your Prosperity is in Your Hands

God wants you to prosper in every area of your life, for He delights in the prosperity of His children Psalm 35:27. In 3 John 1:2 God expresses His wish above all things that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. No wonder the bible says in 2 Peter 1:3 that He has given you , “…all things that pertain unto life and godliness….” The implication of this is that in Christ Jesus you’ve come into a rich inheritance; a place of absolute prosperity.       Indeed, when you received Christ you were automatically catapulted into a glorious realm of prosperity and become not just an heir of God but a joint heir with Christ Romans 8:17. But then the bible says in Galatians 4:1, “… the heir, as long as he is a child, differenth nothing form a servant, though he be lord of all.” In other words, though you’re a joint heir with Christ, and all of God’s wealth and inestimable riches belong to you, you have to grow in the Word unto maturity to enjoy the benefits of

Prosperity Means More in The New life

Prosperity isn’t the multiplication of your finances or other material things; prosperity is ability. The reason most people often equate prosperity with material things is that material possessions are often the most common indication of prosperity.   “…As poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things” 2 Corinthians 6:10. You can be working for someone and be the reason your employer is prospering or even be more prosperous than your employers.   Jacob made Laban to prosper while he worked for him. Laban acknowledged this much when he said, “… for I have learned by experience that the LORD hath blessed me for thy sake” Genesis 30:27. Joseph also made Potiphar to prosper: “And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the lord blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and blessing of the Lord was upon all that he had in the house, and in the flied” Genesis 39:5. So, prosperit

Jesus Christ came to Help You

As Christian, you need the Holy Spirit to fulfil God’s plans for your life and for your service to be acceptable to God. That is why the Lord Jesus said “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever” John 14:16. The Holy Spirit came to help you live the Christian life because no ordinary person can live this extraordinary life.      There’s no reason for you to fall in anything in life after you’re received the Holy Spirit; in fact, you’re answerable to God for any failure. You have no right to fail because the Holy Spirit is your Helper! He’ll help and teach you to pray, and he’ll teach you how to   be free from debt, He’ll show you how to make one. He’ll energize and give you the ability to succeed; His ability will become your ability, and His strength will become your strength.      Recognize Him as your helper and know that He came to make you a success in life; no evil can drown or suffocate you becaus

Stand Up for Jesus

The Bible says Jesus has been placed “high above all other government and authority and power and dominion, and every title of sovereignty used either in this Age or in the Age to come” Ephesians 1:21 (Weymouth New Testament Bible). For that reason, it makes no difference what the title is; be it President, Prime Minister, President General, Chief Judge, etc.   Jesus is above them all. He’s above every title of sovereignty and government. Now, what does this mean for the Church?   For the Lord is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us. Isaiah 33:22. You have rest in Christ Jesus      Remember, He’s the head, and the Church is His body; He and the Church are one; we go by the same name. Thus, in union with Him, the Church is above, and has a say in, any and every government in this world. Therefore, those who think the Church is helpless, beggarly, and weak, must think again. Isaiah 33:22, “For the

Pray For not against your Enemies

Sometimes, some Christians, while praying, would say, “Whatever evil my enemies have planned against me, Lord, give them double! Anyone who wants me dead let that one rather die a sudden death!” No, this isn’t the right way to pray as a Christian; not when you’re full of the Spirit! Galatians 5:16, “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh”    You are Superior To Death       Those who pray like that are praying according to the desire of the flesh, not according to Spirit. Galatians 5:16 says, “…Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” It’s the desire of the Spirit is to see their salvation.     When you pray against your enemies, that’s walking in the flesh; that’s praying in the flesh. What God wants is for us to pray in the Spirit: “praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit…” Ephesians 6:18. Stay in the Spirit; don’t be perturbed by whatever your enemy may be scheming against y

You need to know Jesus Christ

“God has blessed you with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus” Ephesians 1:3; and 1 Corinthians 3:21 declares, “…all things are yours.” In 2 Peter 1:3, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.” God has given you everything you require to live victoriously and be a success in life. Meanwhile, in 2 Peter 1:3, we observe a very important element: it’s about “your knowledge of Him.” There’s nothing you could ever need or desire for a godly life that’s not already yours in Christ. However, making it a reality in your life is a function of your knowledge of Him.     This kind of knowledge is full, exact knowledge “epignosis” (Greek). God’s provisions aren’t going to come to pass in your life just because they’re written in the pages of the Bible; there’s a knowledge of Him that you must have; knowledge beyond the senses; specific kn

Walking in the newness of life in Christ Jesus

The coming of Jesus Christ ushered us into another kind of life. This is what some people do not understand especially people who are not in Christ. This is why some babies or new converts are acting as if everything is still the same. “Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” Romans 6:3-4. From these verses we just read, it is important to note that baptism is symbolic to the death and burial of Jesus Christ. Since, Jesus Christ rose from death, we also were raised with him, praise the Lord! We were not raised as the same person we used to be. That is why Paul was asking “Know ye not” in other words are you not aware of the change in which has taken place in you? This is very remarkable “As Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of t

How to Receive the New Life in Christ Jesus

The new life in Christ Jesus is a special kind of life which God has made available for every human being after the fall of man from the glory. In the beginning, man was created to have authority and dominion over all the earth and anything that exist in the world. Genesis 1:26, “And God said let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth and over every creeping that creepeth upon the earth.”   Underline the statement, “let us make man in our image, after our likeness” Did you know that you were created in the image of God? That means you look like God! I would suggest you take a closer look at yourself on a mirror. The very image you are looking is the image of God not an animal or higher animal but of God. Another thing you should note from the statement is that you were made to act like God. After our likeness , how is God like? how does He act? God takes
