Carriers of God’s Divine Presence

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (2 Peter 1:4).   Man in all his goodness and kindness is nothing before the Lord (Isaiah 64:6), until he receives the glorious life in him. Let God’s Love Dominate You

You’re familiar with the old written law, “love friend,” and its unwritten companion, “hate your enemy”. I’m challenging that. I’m telling you to love your enemies. Let them bring out the best in you, not the worst…Matthew 5:43-44(Message Translation Version).   The society tells you to love your friends and hate your enemies. On the contrary, the Lord Jesus is teaching you in the portion of the scripture you’ve just read to love both your friends and enemies.   It’s important to note that He was addressing men who weren’t born again; people who still thought of their enemies as flesh and blood.
