Created to love

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity (1 Corinthians 13:13).   Faith, hope, and love are three creative principles revealed to us in the Word; they are positive forces of the recreated human spirit, and according to the scriptures, the greatest of these three is love. The reason hope doesn’t disappoint is because the love of god is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit: “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us” Romans 5:5. In addition, your walk of love secures faith in your heart, for faith works by love Galatians 5:6. Can you now see why love is so important?   We function with God through love; without love your faith wouldn’t work. Love is the bond of perfection Colossians 3:14. The Contemporary English Version of Colossians 3:14 says “Love is more important than anything else. It is what ties everything completely together.” Walking

Nobody goes to hell because of sin

This might sound like a contradiction to what you used to hear but it is the gospel truth. The problem of sin is over whosoever that is sinning doing so because of his nature. In Romans 5:12 “…by one man sin entered into the world and death by sin and so death passed upon all men for that all have sinned.”   So, sin is an inherit nature from Adam, it does not matter if you are born into a Christian family or non- Christian family all have sinned. Let see what Romans 5:14 says, “Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression,…”   so the same sin of Adam was what made everyone on earth sinners so the sin you commit daily is because of that nature in you. Nobody can be free from the problem of sin on their own so everybody is a sinner.                                                           The redemption work of Jesus Christ     God saw that man can’t help himself or free himself from sin and He b

Grace of God is the divine ability

But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ (Eph.4:7) How wonderful this is! Each one of us has been given grace, according to the measure of the gift of Christ. We have all been given grace to excel in life. The Greek word for grace is “Charis” which is the root of the English word “charisma”. “Charis” refers to the divine influence on the human spirit that reflects on the outside of a man’s life, producing favour, beauty, goodwill, loveliness, and ability. It’s the glory of God in your spirit, which reflects on the outside.   This grace causes favour and glory to abound in your life. For example, when the Lord Jesus was a child, the Bible says he “…grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon Him” luke 2:40. Grace made Him, even as a child, to have favour with God and man Luke 2:52. In the book of Acts, Barnabas went to visit certain brethren, and the Bible says, “…when he came, and had seen the

The Perfection is in Words

“For in many things we offend all, if any man offends not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bride the whole body” James 3:2 In the kingdom of God, perfection is viewed from a different perspective to what the world says. To most people, a perfect man or woman is the one whose actions and behavior are perfect. however, the word of God shows us that to God, a perfect man or woman is the one whose words are perfect. The Living Bible puts the opening scripture this way: “if anyone can control his tongue, it proves that he has perfect control over himself in every other way”. “Can you see that? If your tongue is talking the right way, then you are a perfect man and your entire life will fall in line, because your tongue controls your life. If I want to know the maturity of a Christian, all I need to do is to listen to that person talk for a few minutes. How do you talk? What kind of words come out of your mouth in your “unguarded moments”?   That’s the true reflec
