Born into God’s class

  But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:12-13).    This is one of the most powerful truths revealed to you to take some time today and mediate on it. To be born again is to be born of God. It means to be born of Spirit and the word of God. It means to have the life, nature and character of God, to be born into His class of being.   God made us and He had a plan for us, and in that plan He determined to give us eternal life. So we’re more than just creatures living in the earth; we’re those in whom divinity dwells. The life of Christ in you

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the gentles which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1: 27).   Christianity is the pulsating life of Christ in a human person. When you become a Christian, it means Christ has taken up His abode in your spirit; you become God’s dwelling place; His living headquarters.   Now that you’re born again, the life in you is the supernatural life of Christ. That life in you makes you indestructible and “uninfectable”; it’s sickness, disease and death resistant for it’s the very life of God. Your life is no longer dependent on the blood that flows through your physical body.   When you become a child of God by being born again you become a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17); your blood ceases to be what sustains your life.
