In 2 Corinthians 5:19, we are told, “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not counting their sins against them; and has committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” It’s easy to think of those who haven’t yet embraced salvation as "sinners." But it's crucial to understand that they weren’t made sinners because of their own actions. Rather, it was because of Adam’s disobedience. Romans 5:12 helps clarify this: “Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, in this way death came to all people, because all sinned.” All of humanity was affected by Adam’s fall. Sin entered the world through his choice, and as a result, death came for all.
