Although, most Christians can easily accept, that the new creation have a past but it is not so. New creation does not have a past. The bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17 “therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation; old things are passed away: behold all things are new”. KJV the new creation is not a man who turns away from sinful life and become a saint. He is a new brand one without past. He has not existed before. If you look at the book of psalms 2:7, “I will declare the decree: the lord hath said unto me, thou art my son; this day have I begotten thee”. From where we read the bible says this day have I begotten thee mean that he born him, he did not say raise you from the dead which will mean an extension of the past life. In other words, Christ Jesus was given birth to again. He was the first begotten from dead Revelation 1:5. Meaning he was the first to be born from dead. So, if you are in Christ, you are a new creation with the life of the glorified Christ Jesus, you are a recreated man. This is so because when he died, we died with him and we are raised up with him. Romans 6: 4, “therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like a Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the father, even so we also should walk in newness of life” that means that the life we are living today as Christians is new life of glory This glorious life is superior this earthly life. It is life of success and glory. Praise the Lord!
