Ever victorious life in Christ

Jesus came to this world so that men may have and enjoy the life of God. Ephesians 2:10,”For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” The book of John 10:10, Jesus Said, “…I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

You are not born again just to merely live but to live the good life which God has prepared for you ahead of time; a victorious life. So if you are a Christian, you have the right to rejoice. You can be full of excitement, strength and winning every day. The plan of God for you to have ever victorious life and His Word of God is what matters in your life.

You have some time to shout about every day of your life. The life of God is in you, His Word is in your spirit. No matter where you are in this world, no matter the challenges you may have faced, you can shout “I am more than a conqueror” because Jesus gave you a victorious life. A life that is superior to the decadence and corruption of this failing world; a life that is divine, untainted and immune to sickness, disease and infirmities; a life that’s indestructible.

Maybe you have been living in fear because of an unfavourable diagnosis from the doctors about your health; the life in you is superior to sickness. You have arrived in the place where sickness and disease have lost their grip on you.  Let go of fears. Walk in the truth; live in the truth.

The truth is that you have the ever victorious life of God in you. You are born of Word of God. Greater is He that’s in you than any sickness that may attempt to fasten itself on you. You have overcome diabetes, heart trouble, chest pain, cancer, fibroid or whatever health challenge it may be! The strength of God  is in   you if you are a Christian.

You are alive by the Spirit

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you Romans 8:11. God gave birth to us by the Word, through the spirit. You’re not ordinary person if you are in Christ or if you have the new life in Christ Jesus. The human life you received from your parents has been replaced, supplanted, by the divine life of Christ. 1 Peter 1:23 says, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of corruptible, by the word of god, which liveth and abideth forever.”    Often, I tell people that Christianity is more than a legal document; it’s a vital experience; there’s a true life from Christ beating in your heart which is the new life in Christ Jesus. The natural man (anyone without the New Life in Christ Jesus or anyone who is not born again) lives by blood, but a Christian lives by the Spirit. No wonder Jesus, referring to the ne...

The Reign of Death is over

Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come (Romans 5:14)  Satan became the god of this earth because he got it from Adam who lost out through disobedience, resulting significantly in the reign of death. Remember, God had told Adam, “… in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die” (Genesis 2:17). He was talking about spiritual death; spiritual death is the cause of physical death. So, our theme verse says, “Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses (the Law of Moses)…”  But who had the power of death? The Bible says, “Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil” (Hebrews 2:14). Satan was actually behind this reign of death. Now, here’s something exciting that I want ...

The Divinity of Jesus

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father; but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, have seen him” John 14:6-7.   “Is Jesus really God?”   This is one question many still ask today. They believe He was a great prophet and teacher, but find it difficult to accept that He is Himself God, but He is. The Bible says “In the beginning was the Word, and the word was with God, and the Word was God ” John 1:1. That “Word” that the Bible says “was God” became flesh-Jesus- and dwelt among us: “And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” John 1:14.     Now, the prophecy that came forth before the birth of Jesus also foretold His divinity: “Behold, a virgin shall be with a child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanue...
