Born into God’s class

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:12-13).
This is one of the most powerful truths revealed to you to take some time today and mediate on it. To be born again is to be born of God. It means to be born of Spirit and the word of God. It means to have the life, nature and character of God, to be born into His class of being.
God made us and He had a plan for us, and in that plan He determined to give us eternal life. So we’re more than just creatures living in the earth; we’re those in whom divinity dwells. God gave us eternal life to lift us to His class of being: “therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
If you’re born again, it means you’re in Christ, and if you’re in Christ, you’re a new creation-a new kind of man, existing in God’s class. That doesn’t mean you’re equal with God; it only means that you’re in His class. No wonder he calls us joint heirs (Romans 8:17), and partakers of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4). So He remains your God and your heavenly Father; He is greater than you are, but then you can relate with him at the same level like a child would relate with his father. If you have a child, he can relate to you like a human being, not like your dog or cat which belongs in a different class.
Since you were born in the image and likeness of God, His divine life has supplanted (completely replaced) your human life and brought you into God’s realm of life. The life in you now is Zoe-the God-life! It’s not susceptible to sickness, disease, failure or death and could never be!
You’ve been lifted to God’s class. No wonder Jesus asked the Jews the pointblank question in John 10: 34: “Is it not written in your law, I said, ye are gods?” the life in you is the life of god, therefore you’re not ordinary. You've been born into the supernaturally every day, manifesting His glory and demonstrating his power to your world.

How to follow Jesus

Following Jesus is not going to church always, it is not praying always, it is not reading the bible always etc. although, all these activities are good but they do not make one a follower of Christ Jesus. Matthew 19:16-21, the rich young ruler was perfect in all of them yet something was missing which was the most important one. In the book of John 3:1 Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jew, was disqualified in spite of his knowledge of the law.              What is following Jesus? So, what is following Jesus? Following Jesus Christ is living by the word of God. Luke 4:4 and Jesus answered him saying man shall not live by bread alone, by every word of God. This is living your life according to the direction of the Word of God. It is abiding in the word of God or Jesus. John 15:4-5.     Steps to follow  ·          You must believe in Jesus Christ, John 3:16   ·          You must be born again John 3:3 ·          You must have faith in God. Heb 11:1-6 ·

Salvation is for the Living

Some people have asked if Christians could intercede on behalf of a person who died without receiving Christ, so such a person could go to heaven instead of hell. The answer is No. “For the grave cannot praise thee, death cannot celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth” Isaiah 38:18-19. Anyone who didn’t receive Christ while on earth stands condemned. In John 3:18, Jesus said, “… but he that believeth not is condemned already….”   So, the one who dies without knowing Christ, died in condemnation, and it would be of no use praying for such a one to go to heaven because the choice of whether to make heaven or not is personal one.   It’s important to realize that the salvation message is for the living and not the dead. You can only receive Christ as Lord and Saviour in response to the Gospel while you’re still in the earth. Jesus

Keys to Effectual Prayers

And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him. Lord, teach us to pray… (Lake 11:1)   When you study the lives of the early prophets and the apostles, even the Lord Jesus Christ, you’d find they were very effective in their prayer lives. In our opening verse, disciples asked Him to teach them how to pray because they observed His prayers' effectiveness. So, it’s not just enough to pray; it’s the effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous man that produces results.   There’re scriptural rules and guidelines for effectual prayers. There are some things you have to pray about continually, you intercede continually; and there’re things that you pray for only once because if you keep praying about them, you’re getting into unbelief, rather than applying faith.    Meanwhile, there’re things you’re not even supposed to pray for, because no matter how long you pray about them, God is not going to respond becaus
