To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery
among the gentles which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1: 27).
Christianity is the
pulsating life of Christ in a human person. When you become a Christian, it
means Christ has taken up His abode in your spirit; you become God’s dwelling
place; His living headquarters.
Now that you’re born
again, the life in you is the supernatural life of Christ. That life in you
makes you indestructible and “uninfectable”; it’s sickness, disease and death
resistant for it’s the very life of God. Your life is no longer dependent on
the blood that flows through your physical body.
When you become a
child of God by being born again you become a new creation (2 Corinthians
5:17); your blood ceases to be what sustains your life. That’s why the Bible
says “…as
many as received him, to them that believe on his name: which were born, not of
blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God” (John
1:12-13). You’re born of God; you have the life of God in you.
Jesus said, “behold,
I give unto you power to trend on serpents and scorpions, and over all the
power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10: 19).
He’s letting you know that you’re indestructible. Nothing, absolutely nothing
can hurt or destroy you because Christ- the anointed One and His anointing
lives in you.
