Carriers of God’s Divine Presence

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (2 Peter 1:4).
Man in all his goodness and kindness is nothing before the Lord (Isaiah 64:6), until he receives the glorious life in him. But you are a partaker of the divine life.

The reason you can stand before the Lord unashamed with hands lifted in worship, honour and adoration is that you have His kind of life. You’re His holy vessel, His tabernacle, and He lives inside you. His presence drives sickness, fear, poverty, depression or unhappiness away from your life. That presence causes men to favour you and money to come to you by free course. His presence opens the door which no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).
You carry the presence of the Lord with you everywhere you go in the person of the Holy Spirit. You’ve moved beyond the revelation of “Emmanuel;” God with us (Matthew 1:23), to God in us ( 1Corinthians 6:19). Now you’re a carrier of God’s divine presence.
Cherish His presence in you at all times. The Bible says,”…in thy (the Lord’s) presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore”( Psalm 16:11). Psalm51:11 says, “Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.” So you see, the psalmist understood just how important the Lord’s presence truly is, and so did Moses (Exodus 33:15). The lord’s presence is everything! Praise Him at all times and thank Him for the privilege of being identified with Him.

You are alive by the Spirit

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you Romans 8:11. God gave birth to us by the Word, through the spirit. You’re not ordinary person if you are in Christ or if you have the new life in Christ Jesus. The human life you received from your parents has been replaced, supplanted, by the divine life of Christ. 1 Peter 1:23 says, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of corruptible, by the word of god, which liveth and abideth forever.”    Often, I tell people that Christianity is more than a legal document; it’s a vital experience; there’s a true life from Christ beating in your heart which is the new life in Christ Jesus. The natural man (anyone without the New Life in Christ Jesus or anyone who is not born again) lives by blood, but a Christian lives by the Spirit. No wonder Jesus, referring to the ne...

The Reign of Death is over

Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come (Romans 5:14)  Satan became the god of this earth because he got it from Adam who lost out through disobedience, resulting significantly in the reign of death. Remember, God had told Adam, “… in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die” (Genesis 2:17). He was talking about spiritual death; spiritual death is the cause of physical death. So, our theme verse says, “Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses (the Law of Moses)…”  But who had the power of death? The Bible says, “Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil” (Hebrews 2:14). Satan was actually behind this reign of death. Now, here’s something exciting that I want ...

The Divinity of Jesus

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father; but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, have seen him” John 14:6-7.   “Is Jesus really God?”   This is one question many still ask today. They believe He was a great prophet and teacher, but find it difficult to accept that He is Himself God, but He is. The Bible says “In the beginning was the Word, and the word was with God, and the Word was God ” John 1:1. That “Word” that the Bible says “was God” became flesh-Jesus- and dwelt among us: “And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” John 1:14.     Now, the prophecy that came forth before the birth of Jesus also foretold His divinity: “Behold, a virgin shall be with a child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanue...
