The God-life is in you

Your consciousness of your personality, origin, and heritage in Christ will affect the way you live, control the decisions make, and the things that happen with, and around you. This is why you should be conscious of the life of God that’s in you. The Lord Jesus said in John 5:26, “For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself.” We read from 1 John 5:11-12, “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” That God has given us eternal life. What is this eternal life?

Eternal life is the life and nature of God imparted to the spirit of the one who believes in Jesus. It’s the supernatural life of God in your spirit, making you invincible, indestructible, and superior to Satan, sickness, disease, failure and death. The Apostle John in 1 John 5:13 writes, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life….” God wants you to be conscious of His life in you. That conscious gives you the winner’s mentality.

You don’t have to “feel” it in your body first to be conscious that you have eternal life; it’s in your spirit. Every so often, declare that the life of God is in you: from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet! Perhaps you got injured and it’s hurting terribly, remind yourself that you have the life of God in you. You’re born of the Spirit and the Word of God; your life is supernatural. That means there has to be a restoration.

Some people have had minor injuries that wouldn’t heal for many years. Such injuries eventually degenerated into debilitating ailments that cost them their lives, only because they knew nothing about this life of God. It’s the miracles-life! The new life in Christ Jesus that is incorruptible. You can only have it if you are in Christ Jesus. If you feel the symptoms of sickness in your body, activate power of the God-life in you by praying in tongues, and speaking the Word. Within a short while, you’d notice strength and vitality return to your body.

How to follow Jesus

Following Jesus is not going to church always, it is not praying always, it is not reading the bible always etc. although, all these activities are good but they do not make one a follower of Christ Jesus. Matthew 19:16-21, the rich young ruler was perfect in all of them yet something was missing which was the most important one. In the book of John 3:1 Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jew, was disqualified in spite of his knowledge of the law.              What is following Jesus? So, what is following Jesus? Following Jesus Christ is living by the word of God. Luke 4:4 and Jesus answered him saying man shall not live by bread alone, by every word of God. This is living your life according to the direction of the Word of God. It is abiding in the word of God or Jesus. John 15:4-5.     Steps to follow  ·          You must believe in Jesus Christ, John 3:16   ·          You must be born again John 3:3 ·          You must have faith in God. Heb 11:1-6 ·

Salvation is for the Living

Some people have asked if Christians could intercede on behalf of a person who died without receiving Christ, so such a person could go to heaven instead of hell. The answer is No. “For the grave cannot praise thee, death cannot celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth” Isaiah 38:18-19. Anyone who didn’t receive Christ while on earth stands condemned. In John 3:18, Jesus said, “… but he that believeth not is condemned already….”   So, the one who dies without knowing Christ, died in condemnation, and it would be of no use praying for such a one to go to heaven because the choice of whether to make heaven or not is personal one.   It’s important to realize that the salvation message is for the living and not the dead. You can only receive Christ as Lord and Saviour in response to the Gospel while you’re still in the earth. Jesus

Keys to Effectual Prayers

And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him. Lord, teach us to pray… (Lake 11:1)   When you study the lives of the early prophets and the apostles, even the Lord Jesus Christ, you’d find they were very effective in their prayer lives. In our opening verse, disciples asked Him to teach them how to pray because they observed His prayers' effectiveness. So, it’s not just enough to pray; it’s the effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous man that produces results.   There’re scriptural rules and guidelines for effectual prayers. There are some things you have to pray about continually, you intercede continually; and there’re things that you pray for only once because if you keep praying about them, you’re getting into unbelief, rather than applying faith.    Meanwhile, there’re things you’re not even supposed to pray for, because no matter how long you pray about them, God is not going to respond becaus
