The Word of God is your Evidence

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen, Hebrews 11:1.

One of those peculiar rules and requirements of effectual prayer is that you present the Word of God as your evidence. This is one of the reasons you should constantly study God’s Word; the Word is evidence you need to lay claims to your inheritance in Christ.

If you were told to prove your ownership to a piece of land, for instance, you wouldn’t set out to move the property from its location to show anyone making such enquiry, would you? Rather, you’d simply produce the “evidence” or “title deed” to the property. in the Amplified version, faith is defined as “…the assurance (the confirmation, THE TITLE  DEED) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we]do not see {and} the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]” Hebrews 11:1.

When you seek to effect changes through the prayer of faith, you must be spiritually alert to recognize the evidence the Holy Spirit is bringing to your awareness. Sometimes, He could lead you to study a particular verse of the Bible, or impress certain scripture in your spirit; meditate and pray with those scriptures.

In addition, you could have a note of victory in your inner-man through a word of prophecy. The word may not necessarily come from someone else; the Holy Spirit can simply grant you the utterance as you pray, or bring a song to your spirit that causes great rejoicing within you. Never let go of such words, for they’re the evidence of your victory. Meditate on them; talk them; be bold to let others know what you’ve received, and act accordingly. For someone who perhaps has been sick, and had prayed to be healed, he would need to look to the Word for the evidence of his healing

How to follow Jesus

Following Jesus is not going to church always, it is not praying always, it is not reading the bible always etc. although, all these activities are good but they do not make one a follower of Christ Jesus. Matthew 19:16-21, the rich young ruler was perfect in all of them yet something was missing which was the most important one. In the book of John 3:1 Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jew, was disqualified in spite of his knowledge of the law.              What is following Jesus? So, what is following Jesus? Following Jesus Christ is living by the word of God. Luke 4:4 and Jesus answered him saying man shall not live by bread alone, by every word of God. This is living your life according to the direction of the Word of God. It is abiding in the word of God or Jesus. John 15:4-5.     Steps to follow  ·          You must believe in Jesus Christ, John 3:16   ·          You must be born again John 3:3 ·          You must have faith in God. Heb 11:1-6 ·

Salvation is for the Living

Some people have asked if Christians could intercede on behalf of a person who died without receiving Christ, so such a person could go to heaven instead of hell. The answer is No. “For the grave cannot praise thee, death cannot celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth” Isaiah 38:18-19. Anyone who didn’t receive Christ while on earth stands condemned. In John 3:18, Jesus said, “… but he that believeth not is condemned already….”   So, the one who dies without knowing Christ, died in condemnation, and it would be of no use praying for such a one to go to heaven because the choice of whether to make heaven or not is personal one.   It’s important to realize that the salvation message is for the living and not the dead. You can only receive Christ as Lord and Saviour in response to the Gospel while you’re still in the earth. Jesus

Keys to Effectual Prayers

And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him. Lord, teach us to pray… (Lake 11:1)   When you study the lives of the early prophets and the apostles, even the Lord Jesus Christ, you’d find they were very effective in their prayer lives. In our opening verse, disciples asked Him to teach them how to pray because they observed His prayers' effectiveness. So, it’s not just enough to pray; it’s the effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous man that produces results.   There’re scriptural rules and guidelines for effectual prayers. There are some things you have to pray about continually, you intercede continually; and there’re things that you pray for only once because if you keep praying about them, you’re getting into unbelief, rather than applying faith.    Meanwhile, there’re things you’re not even supposed to pray for, because no matter how long you pray about them, God is not going to respond becaus
