You are justified

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5: 1).
The bible lets us know that Jesus wasn’t only delivered on account of our sins, He was also raised for our Justification: “who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for justification” Romans 4: 25. What does it mean to be justified?
Firstly, you need to understand that there’s a difference between justification and forgiveness. The Apostle Paul, in the opening scripture, wasn’t talking about forgiveness, nor was he talking about remission. He was talking justification. To be justified means “to be declared not guilty.” It means to be declared righteous. Thus, in the eyes of God, you never sinned because God Himself who should judge you for your wrongdoing, is saying, “No, you didn’t do wrong; you’re clean.” That’s what it means to be justified.
The bible says, “therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” 2 Corinthians 5:17. The new creation is a new being; he’s a brand new species of being that never existed before. For him, old things are passed away and all things are become new. He has a clean slate as it were, for he’s without a past. That’s why God can declare him, “not guilty” because there’s nothing to judge since he now has a brand new life.
The bible says when Jesus died, you died with Him; when He was buried, you were buried with Him; and when God raised Him form the dead, you were raised together with Him in newness of life. That means all your sins are gone. You’ve been washed by the blood of the Lamb and presented holy and guiltless before the Father.

How to follow Jesus

Following Jesus is not going to church always, it is not praying always, it is not reading the bible always etc. although, all these activities are good but they do not make one a follower of Christ Jesus. Matthew 19:16-21, the rich young ruler was perfect in all of them yet something was missing which was the most important one. In the book of John 3:1 Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jew, was disqualified in spite of his knowledge of the law.              What is following Jesus? So, what is following Jesus? Following Jesus Christ is living by the word of God. Luke 4:4 and Jesus answered him saying man shall not live by bread alone, by every word of God. This is living your life according to the direction of the Word of God. It is abiding in the word of God or Jesus. John 15:4-5.     Steps to follow  ·          You must believe in Jesus Christ, John 3:16   ·          You must be born again John 3:3 ·          You must have faith in God. Heb 11:1-6 ·

Salvation is for the Living

Some people have asked if Christians could intercede on behalf of a person who died without receiving Christ, so such a person could go to heaven instead of hell. The answer is No. “For the grave cannot praise thee, death cannot celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth” Isaiah 38:18-19. Anyone who didn’t receive Christ while on earth stands condemned. In John 3:18, Jesus said, “… but he that believeth not is condemned already….”   So, the one who dies without knowing Christ, died in condemnation, and it would be of no use praying for such a one to go to heaven because the choice of whether to make heaven or not is personal one.   It’s important to realize that the salvation message is for the living and not the dead. You can only receive Christ as Lord and Saviour in response to the Gospel while you’re still in the earth. Jesus

Keys to Effectual Prayers

And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him. Lord, teach us to pray… (Lake 11:1)   When you study the lives of the early prophets and the apostles, even the Lord Jesus Christ, you’d find they were very effective in their prayer lives. In our opening verse, disciples asked Him to teach them how to pray because they observed His prayers' effectiveness. So, it’s not just enough to pray; it’s the effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous man that produces results.   There’re scriptural rules and guidelines for effectual prayers. There are some things you have to pray about continually, you intercede continually; and there’re things that you pray for only once because if you keep praying about them, you’re getting into unbelief, rather than applying faith.    Meanwhile, there’re things you’re not even supposed to pray for, because no matter how long you pray about them, God is not going to respond becaus
