We’re joint-heirs, not Co-heirs

And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint- heirs with Christ… (Romans 8:17).
If you’ve ever operated a joint bank account you’ll know that no money can leave the account unless both signatures are appended. The bank will not honour a cheque unless both signatories have signed since they own the account 100% together. So, the Apostle Paul wasn’t making a mistake when he peened the words, “joint-heirs” instead of “co-heir”. To be a joint-heir with Christ therefore means that everything that belongs to Jesus Christ belongs to you in the same way and to the same degree that it belongs to Him. The two of you own everything 100% together, not 50-50 or 60-40 or 70-30.
It’s not difficult for some folks to accept that everything that belongs to the Father belongs to Jesus, but when it comes to believing that everything that belongs to Jesus belongs to us, they wonder, “Can it really be true”? When Jesus died, we died with him; when he was raised from the dead, we were raised together with Him (Ephesians 2:6). The Bible says He is the head and we are His body (Ephesians 1:22). The head can’t have a greater part in the inheritance than the body, because they’re one! This is the reason the Bible says “all things are yours…” (1 Corinthians 3:21).
Can you see why poverty is an insult to Jesus? Can you now see why you should never go hungry another day? You’re a signatory to the heaven account, and the good news is that Jesus has already appended His own signature; it’s up to you now to do the same and begin to enjoy the inheritance. As you declare in faith that prosperity, health, success, victory and all the wonderful blessings in the gospel are yours, you’re appending your signature and you’ll find yourself walking in your inheritance.
Hallelujah!

How to follow Jesus

Following Jesus is not going to church always, it is not praying always, it is not reading the bible always etc. although, all these activities are good but they do not make one a follower of Christ Jesus. Matthew 19:16-21, the rich young ruler was perfect in all of them yet something was missing which was the most important one. In the book of John 3:1 Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jew, was disqualified in spite of his knowledge of the law.              What is following Jesus? So, what is following Jesus? Following Jesus Christ is living by the word of God. Luke 4:4 and Jesus answered him saying man shall not live by bread alone, by every word of God. This is living your life according to the direction of the Word of God. It is abiding in the word of God or Jesus. John 15:4-5.     Steps to follow  ·          You must believe in Jesus Christ, John 3:16   ·          You must be born again John 3:3 ·          You must have faith in God. Heb 11:1-6 ·

Salvation is for the Living

Some people have asked if Christians could intercede on behalf of a person who died without receiving Christ, so such a person could go to heaven instead of hell. The answer is No. “For the grave cannot praise thee, death cannot celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth” Isaiah 38:18-19. Anyone who didn’t receive Christ while on earth stands condemned. In John 3:18, Jesus said, “… but he that believeth not is condemned already….”   So, the one who dies without knowing Christ, died in condemnation, and it would be of no use praying for such a one to go to heaven because the choice of whether to make heaven or not is personal one.   It’s important to realize that the salvation message is for the living and not the dead. You can only receive Christ as Lord and Saviour in response to the Gospel while you’re still in the earth. Jesus

Keys to Effectual Prayers

And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him. Lord, teach us to pray… (Lake 11:1)   When you study the lives of the early prophets and the apostles, even the Lord Jesus Christ, you’d find they were very effective in their prayer lives. In our opening verse, disciples asked Him to teach them how to pray because they observed His prayers' effectiveness. So, it’s not just enough to pray; it’s the effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous man that produces results.   There’re scriptural rules and guidelines for effectual prayers. There are some things you have to pray about continually, you intercede continually; and there’re things that you pray for only once because if you keep praying about them, you’re getting into unbelief, rather than applying faith.    Meanwhile, there’re things you’re not even supposed to pray for, because no matter how long you pray about them, God is not going to respond becaus
