The Perfection is in Words

“For in many things we offend all, if any man offends not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bride the whole body” James 3:2
In the kingdom of God, perfection is viewed from a different perspective to what the world says. To most people, a perfect man or woman is the one whose actions and behavior are perfect. however, the word of God shows us that to God, a perfect man or woman is the one whose words are perfect. The Living Bible puts the opening scripture this way: “if anyone can control his tongue, it proves that he has perfect control over himself in every other way”. “Can you see that? If your tongue is talking the right way, then you are a perfect man and your entire life will fall in line, because your tongue controls your life.
If I want to know the maturity of a Christian, all I need to do is to listen to that person talk for a few minutes. How do you talk? What kind of words come out of your mouth in your “unguarded moments”?  That’s the true reflection of your Christian maturity. No matter how seeming perfect a person’s acts are, his words will always locate him. The character of your life is the character of your words and this is why perfection in God’s eyes is located in your mouth: if you would get your words right, your body will follow. Fill your heart and mind with the Word of God, such that when you speak, that’s what come out. The Lord Jesus said, “…by thy words thou shall be justified, and by thy words thou shall be condemned” Matthew 12:37. Speak God’s Words always, not your feelings. you must also get rid of cursing, abusive language and complaining from your vocabulary. Learn to praise. Bless and give thanks. The more disciplined your tongue is in speaking the right words. The more mature you are  in Christ, and the more perfect you are.

How to follow Jesus

Following Jesus is not going to church always, it is not praying always, it is not reading the bible always etc. although, all these activities are good but they do not make one a follower of Christ Jesus. Matthew 19:16-21, the rich young ruler was perfect in all of them yet something was missing which was the most important one. In the book of John 3:1 Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jew, was disqualified in spite of his knowledge of the law.              What is following Jesus? So, what is following Jesus? Following Jesus Christ is living by the word of God. Luke 4:4 and Jesus answered him saying man shall not live by bread alone, by every word of God. This is living your life according to the direction of the Word of God. It is abiding in the word of God or Jesus. John 15:4-5.     Steps to follow  ·          You must believe in Jesus Christ, John 3:16   ·          You must be born again John 3:3 ·          You must have faith in God. Heb 11:1-6 ·

Salvation is for the Living

Some people have asked if Christians could intercede on behalf of a person who died without receiving Christ, so such a person could go to heaven instead of hell. The answer is No. “For the grave cannot praise thee, death cannot celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth” Isaiah 38:18-19. Anyone who didn’t receive Christ while on earth stands condemned. In John 3:18, Jesus said, “… but he that believeth not is condemned already….”   So, the one who dies without knowing Christ, died in condemnation, and it would be of no use praying for such a one to go to heaven because the choice of whether to make heaven or not is personal one.   It’s important to realize that the salvation message is for the living and not the dead. You can only receive Christ as Lord and Saviour in response to the Gospel while you’re still in the earth. Jesus

Keys to Effectual Prayers

And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him. Lord, teach us to pray… (Lake 11:1)   When you study the lives of the early prophets and the apostles, even the Lord Jesus Christ, you’d find they were very effective in their prayer lives. In our opening verse, disciples asked Him to teach them how to pray because they observed His prayers' effectiveness. So, it’s not just enough to pray; it’s the effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous man that produces results.   There’re scriptural rules and guidelines for effectual prayers. There are some things you have to pray about continually, you intercede continually; and there’re things that you pray for only once because if you keep praying about them, you’re getting into unbelief, rather than applying faith.    Meanwhile, there’re things you’re not even supposed to pray for, because no matter how long you pray about them, God is not going to respond becaus
