Created to love

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity (1 Corinthians 13:13).
Faith, hope, and love are three creative principles revealed to us in the Word; they are positive forces of the recreated human spirit, and according to the scriptures, the greatest of these three is love. The reason hope doesn’t disappoint is because the love of god is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit: “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us” Romans 5:5. In addition, your walk of love secures faith in your heart, for faith works by love Galatians 5:6. Can you now see why love is so important?
We function with God through love; without love your faith wouldn’t work. Love is the bond of perfection Colossians 3:14. The Contemporary English Version of Colossians 3:14 says “Love is more important than anything else. It is what ties everything completely together.” Walking in love, for the Christian, isn’t optional at all; it’s our life. You were created to love. God is love, and the Bible says our spirits have been recreated after the image of the One that created us; therefore, we’re the expression and epitome of His love.
Jesus said in John 13:34, “Anew commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.” However, being born again, and having received the Holy Spirit, love is no longer a commandment for you to obey; rather, it has become your natural way of life In line with 1John 3:14, love is the sign that you’ve passed from death to life! That’s the inner conviction as the spirit bears witness with your spirit that you’re a child of God Romans 8:16.
Not only has God given you His love, H’ also given you the ability to love like Him. Let His love be seen in you and heard in your  word; let others experience God’s love through you everyday.

How to follow Jesus

Following Jesus is not going to church always, it is not praying always, it is not reading the bible always etc. although, all these activities are good but they do not make one a follower of Christ Jesus. Matthew 19:16-21, the rich young ruler was perfect in all of them yet something was missing which was the most important one. In the book of John 3:1 Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jew, was disqualified in spite of his knowledge of the law.              What is following Jesus? So, what is following Jesus? Following Jesus Christ is living by the word of God. Luke 4:4 and Jesus answered him saying man shall not live by bread alone, by every word of God. This is living your life according to the direction of the Word of God. It is abiding in the word of God or Jesus. John 15:4-5.     Steps to follow  ·          You must believe in Jesus Christ, John 3:16   ·          You must be born again John 3:3 ·          You must have faith in God. Heb 11:1-6 ·

Salvation is for the Living

Some people have asked if Christians could intercede on behalf of a person who died without receiving Christ, so such a person could go to heaven instead of hell. The answer is No. “For the grave cannot praise thee, death cannot celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth” Isaiah 38:18-19. Anyone who didn’t receive Christ while on earth stands condemned. In John 3:18, Jesus said, “… but he that believeth not is condemned already….”   So, the one who dies without knowing Christ, died in condemnation, and it would be of no use praying for such a one to go to heaven because the choice of whether to make heaven or not is personal one.   It’s important to realize that the salvation message is for the living and not the dead. You can only receive Christ as Lord and Saviour in response to the Gospel while you’re still in the earth. Jesus

Keys to Effectual Prayers

And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him. Lord, teach us to pray… (Lake 11:1)   When you study the lives of the early prophets and the apostles, even the Lord Jesus Christ, you’d find they were very effective in their prayer lives. In our opening verse, disciples asked Him to teach them how to pray because they observed His prayers' effectiveness. So, it’s not just enough to pray; it’s the effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous man that produces results.   There’re scriptural rules and guidelines for effectual prayers. There are some things you have to pray about continually, you intercede continually; and there’re things that you pray for only once because if you keep praying about them, you’re getting into unbelief, rather than applying faith.    Meanwhile, there’re things you’re not even supposed to pray for, because no matter how long you pray about them, God is not going to respond becaus
