Grace of God is the divine ability

But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ (Eph.4:7)
How wonderful this is! Each one of us has been given grace, according to the measure of the gift of Christ. We have all been given grace to excel in life. The Greek word for grace is “Charis” which is the root of the English word “charisma”. “Charis” refers to the divine influence on the human spirit that reflects on the outside of a man’s life, producing favour, beauty, goodwill, loveliness, and ability. It’s the glory of God in your spirit, which reflects on the outside.
This grace causes favour and glory to abound in your life. For example, when the Lord Jesus was a child, the Bible says he “…grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon Him” luke 2:40. Grace made Him, even as a child, to have favour with God and man Luke 2:52. In the book of Acts, Barnabas went to visit certain brethren, and the Bible says, “…when he came, and had seen the grace of god, was glad, and exhorted them all…” Acts 11: 23. What was it that Barnabas saw? It certainly   wasn’t alight beaming out of their heads. He saw the beauty of God; he saw things working out excellently in the lives of these brethren.
The grace of God on your life is the divine ability in you to be successful in every endeavor, and you have to grow in that grace. “…grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ…” 2 Peter 3:18. Grace is the power of promotion; it’s the thing that causes your life to move from one level to another, and that’s why the scriptures admonish that you grow in grace. Every child God has been given grace in abundance Romans 5:17, but the degree to which you let it reflect is up you. The more you fill your heart with God’s word and have the Holy Spirit work in your life, the greater the grace of God that’ll be manifested in your life.

How to follow Jesus

Following Jesus is not going to church always, it is not praying always, it is not reading the bible always etc. although, all these activities are good but they do not make one a follower of Christ Jesus. Matthew 19:16-21, the rich young ruler was perfect in all of them yet something was missing which was the most important one. In the book of John 3:1 Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jew, was disqualified in spite of his knowledge of the law.              What is following Jesus? So, what is following Jesus? Following Jesus Christ is living by the word of God. Luke 4:4 and Jesus answered him saying man shall not live by bread alone, by every word of God. This is living your life according to the direction of the Word of God. It is abiding in the word of God or Jesus. John 15:4-5.     Steps to follow  ·          You must believe in Jesus Christ, John 3:16   ·          You must be born again John 3:3 ·          You must have faith in God. Heb 11:1-6 ·

Salvation is for the Living

Some people have asked if Christians could intercede on behalf of a person who died without receiving Christ, so such a person could go to heaven instead of hell. The answer is No. “For the grave cannot praise thee, death cannot celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth” Isaiah 38:18-19. Anyone who didn’t receive Christ while on earth stands condemned. In John 3:18, Jesus said, “… but he that believeth not is condemned already….”   So, the one who dies without knowing Christ, died in condemnation, and it would be of no use praying for such a one to go to heaven because the choice of whether to make heaven or not is personal one.   It’s important to realize that the salvation message is for the living and not the dead. You can only receive Christ as Lord and Saviour in response to the Gospel while you’re still in the earth. Jesus

Keys to Effectual Prayers

And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him. Lord, teach us to pray… (Lake 11:1)   When you study the lives of the early prophets and the apostles, even the Lord Jesus Christ, you’d find they were very effective in their prayer lives. In our opening verse, disciples asked Him to teach them how to pray because they observed His prayers' effectiveness. So, it’s not just enough to pray; it’s the effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous man that produces results.   There’re scriptural rules and guidelines for effectual prayers. There are some things you have to pray about continually, you intercede continually; and there’re things that you pray for only once because if you keep praying about them, you’re getting into unbelief, rather than applying faith.    Meanwhile, there’re things you’re not even supposed to pray for, because no matter how long you pray about them, God is not going to respond becaus
