Faith works

Faith is the response of the human spirit to the word of God. Faith makes everything in life possible; it does not fail. If faith did not work that means it is not faith. Hebrew 11:1 “now faith is the substance of things hope for, the evidence of things not seen” KJV. Faith is the evidence of the unseen realities.
Romans 4:17-20 “…before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, so shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb: he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief. But was strong in faith, giving glory to God” KJV.

From the above reference, two statements are very remarkable and the first one is God who calls those things which are not as though they were, the second is Abraham did not consider his situations in life as the condition of his becoming the father of many nations. So God does not wait to see things before he calls them into being, In other words, His calling make things to exist. God called Abraham the father of many nations when he had no child and everything around him had no proof that he would be the father of many nations except the word of God. The bible says he believed on the God who quickens the dead and calls things that be not as though they were, Praise God! That means he knew the God who can quicken his body and the dead womb of Sarah also who can call a child into existence.
Abraham aligned himself so that the word of God will come to pass in his life through faith in the word. Some people would have said “yes, it is by faith, I don’t have it now”, “I am yet to receive the miracle” but Abraham starting living like the father of many nations even before he saw the child, he was answering ‘father of many nations’ even without a child, what a faith!
You can arrange your life to receive from God today even as you are reading this article right now. Do you believe in Our Lord Jesus Christ? What do you want from God? The book of Mark 11: 24 says, “… what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” KJV You receive anytime you pray to God in the name of Jesus Christ if you are a Christian but if you are not a Christian don’t run away Jesus loves you and you can find help here.

How to follow Jesus

Following Jesus is not going to church always, it is not praying always, it is not reading the bible always etc. although, all these activities are good but they do not make one a follower of Christ Jesus. Matthew 19:16-21, the rich young ruler was perfect in all of them yet something was missing which was the most important one. In the book of John 3:1 Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jew, was disqualified in spite of his knowledge of the law.              What is following Jesus? So, what is following Jesus? Following Jesus Christ is living by the word of God. Luke 4:4 and Jesus answered him saying man shall not live by bread alone, by every word of God. This is living your life according to the direction of the Word of God. It is abiding in the word of God or Jesus. John 15:4-5.     Steps to follow  ·          You must believe in Jesus Christ, John 3:16   ·          You must be born again John 3:3 ·          You must have faith in God. Heb 11:1-6 ·

Salvation is for the Living

Some people have asked if Christians could intercede on behalf of a person who died without receiving Christ, so such a person could go to heaven instead of hell. The answer is No. “For the grave cannot praise thee, death cannot celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth” Isaiah 38:18-19. Anyone who didn’t receive Christ while on earth stands condemned. In John 3:18, Jesus said, “… but he that believeth not is condemned already….”   So, the one who dies without knowing Christ, died in condemnation, and it would be of no use praying for such a one to go to heaven because the choice of whether to make heaven or not is personal one.   It’s important to realize that the salvation message is for the living and not the dead. You can only receive Christ as Lord and Saviour in response to the Gospel while you’re still in the earth. Jesus

Keys to Effectual Prayers

And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him. Lord, teach us to pray… (Lake 11:1)   When you study the lives of the early prophets and the apostles, even the Lord Jesus Christ, you’d find they were very effective in their prayer lives. In our opening verse, disciples asked Him to teach them how to pray because they observed His prayers' effectiveness. So, it’s not just enough to pray; it’s the effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous man that produces results.   There’re scriptural rules and guidelines for effectual prayers. There are some things you have to pray about continually, you intercede continually; and there’re things that you pray for only once because if you keep praying about them, you’re getting into unbelief, rather than applying faith.    Meanwhile, there’re things you’re not even supposed to pray for, because no matter how long you pray about them, God is not going to respond becaus
