You are a miracle worker

Very, very, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my father (John 14:12).
The Lord Jesus performed several miracles while he was here on earth; He healed the sick, raised the dead, multiplied food, and turned water into wine. His life was an unending stream of miraculous. As He prepared to leave the earth, he declared that those who believe in him would do even greater works than he did. That means He has made us miracles workers just like Him! He said “very, very, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
When Peter and John met the crippled man at the gate of the temple, Peter said “silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk” (Act 3:6). Then Peter grabbed the man’s hand and lifted him up and he walk! Peter didn’t pray to God to heal the man; Peter performed the miracle in the name of Jesus! That’s the kind of life He’s called you to live. Remember the words of the master: “ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come up you” (Act 1:8). Power is the “dynamic ability to cause changes.”

The question therefore is: Have you received the Holy Ghost? If you have, then you’re a miracles-worker like Jesus, for it was the Holy Ghost in Him that made Him do those works. Whether it’s someone around you who needs the miracle, or it’s you, you can effect the change you desire. Is someone sick around you? Go ahead and lay your hands on that one and demand a recovery in the Name of Jesus. Is it a miracle you need at work? Declare the change you want to see in the Name of Jesus. You have no reason to feel disadvantaged or helpless anymore, because miracle-working ability is in you now!

How to follow Jesus

Following Jesus is not going to church always, it is not praying always, it is not reading the bible always etc. although, all these activities are good but they do not make one a follower of Christ Jesus. Matthew 19:16-21, the rich young ruler was perfect in all of them yet something was missing which was the most important one. In the book of John 3:1 Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jew, was disqualified in spite of his knowledge of the law.              What is following Jesus? So, what is following Jesus? Following Jesus Christ is living by the word of God. Luke 4:4 and Jesus answered him saying man shall not live by bread alone, by every word of God. This is living your life according to the direction of the Word of God. It is abiding in the word of God or Jesus. John 15:4-5.     Steps to follow  ·          You must believe in Jesus Christ, John 3:16   ·          You must be born again John 3:3 ·          You must have faith in God. Heb 11:1-6 ·

Salvation is for the Living

Some people have asked if Christians could intercede on behalf of a person who died without receiving Christ, so such a person could go to heaven instead of hell. The answer is No. “For the grave cannot praise thee, death cannot celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth” Isaiah 38:18-19. Anyone who didn’t receive Christ while on earth stands condemned. In John 3:18, Jesus said, “… but he that believeth not is condemned already….”   So, the one who dies without knowing Christ, died in condemnation, and it would be of no use praying for such a one to go to heaven because the choice of whether to make heaven or not is personal one.   It’s important to realize that the salvation message is for the living and not the dead. You can only receive Christ as Lord and Saviour in response to the Gospel while you’re still in the earth. Jesus

Keys to Effectual Prayers

And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him. Lord, teach us to pray… (Lake 11:1)   When you study the lives of the early prophets and the apostles, even the Lord Jesus Christ, you’d find they were very effective in their prayer lives. In our opening verse, disciples asked Him to teach them how to pray because they observed His prayers' effectiveness. So, it’s not just enough to pray; it’s the effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous man that produces results.   There’re scriptural rules and guidelines for effectual prayers. There are some things you have to pray about continually, you intercede continually; and there’re things that you pray for only once because if you keep praying about them, you’re getting into unbelief, rather than applying faith.    Meanwhile, there’re things you’re not even supposed to pray for, because no matter how long you pray about them, God is not going to respond becaus
