Living by the Word of God

Do you know that you can be whatever you want to be with the word of God? Matthew 4: 1-4,”… man shall not live by bread alone …” why is this very important? It is important because we have spiritual bodies and physical bodies but we are spirits living inside the physical bodies. The physical body does not enter into heaven that is another reason it is very important to feed your spiritual body.
The more you feed your spiritual body with the word of God, the better your relationship with God and the more your spiritual vision. That is why Jesus said that man cannot live by bread alone but by every word of God. When you study the word of God, the spirit of God is activated to teach you the word that you need for that moment.

The word of God is the propelling force, or power that can cause you to change anything in your life. The wisdom in the word of God will be the wisdom that will guide you. The power of the Holy Spirit will cause you to act according the direction of the Holy Spirit. When the word of God is working in your life, it will create the circumstance that is in line with whatever you want to achieve. The word of God will make you to see possibility in any situation you are facing. Jesus said everything is possible to anyone who believes. There is nothing like impossibility if the word of God is in you, nothing can stop you.

How to follow Jesus

Following Jesus is not going to church always, it is not praying always, it is not reading the bible always etc. although, all these activities are good but they do not make one a follower of Christ Jesus. Matthew 19:16-21, the rich young ruler was perfect in all of them yet something was missing which was the most important one. In the book of John 3:1 Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jew, was disqualified in spite of his knowledge of the law.              What is following Jesus? So, what is following Jesus? Following Jesus Christ is living by the word of God. Luke 4:4 and Jesus answered him saying man shall not live by bread alone, by every word of God. This is living your life according to the direction of the Word of God. It is abiding in the word of God or Jesus. John 15:4-5.     Steps to follow  ·          You must believe in Jesus Christ, John 3:16   ·          You must be born again John 3:3 ·          You must have faith in God. Heb 11:1-6 ·

Salvation is for the Living

Some people have asked if Christians could intercede on behalf of a person who died without receiving Christ, so such a person could go to heaven instead of hell. The answer is No. “For the grave cannot praise thee, death cannot celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth” Isaiah 38:18-19. Anyone who didn’t receive Christ while on earth stands condemned. In John 3:18, Jesus said, “… but he that believeth not is condemned already….”   So, the one who dies without knowing Christ, died in condemnation, and it would be of no use praying for such a one to go to heaven because the choice of whether to make heaven or not is personal one.   It’s important to realize that the salvation message is for the living and not the dead. You can only receive Christ as Lord and Saviour in response to the Gospel while you’re still in the earth. Jesus

Keys to Effectual Prayers

And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him. Lord, teach us to pray… (Lake 11:1)   When you study the lives of the early prophets and the apostles, even the Lord Jesus Christ, you’d find they were very effective in their prayer lives. In our opening verse, disciples asked Him to teach them how to pray because they observed His prayers' effectiveness. So, it’s not just enough to pray; it’s the effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous man that produces results.   There’re scriptural rules and guidelines for effectual prayers. There are some things you have to pray about continually, you intercede continually; and there’re things that you pray for only once because if you keep praying about them, you’re getting into unbelief, rather than applying faith.    Meanwhile, there’re things you’re not even supposed to pray for, because no matter how long you pray about them, God is not going to respond becaus
