Reigning in Christ Jesus

One of the most exciting privileges of any Christian is the right to reign over all the situations life may bring on his way. A religious mind will have problem with this very truth because he doesn’t know Christ Jesus. This truth can only be accepted by people who listen to him and it is not only about listening  but also because  they have personal experiences with the power of the word of God. 1 John 4:6, “we are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us.” But if you can take in this truth your life will never be the same.

                                              Why is the Christians Reigning?
Romans 5:17, “…because of one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and gift of righteousness will reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.” They are reigning because they have received the abundance of grace and gift of righteousness; they are reigning in life because the elements of the world or sin are not part of their new life; they are born of God.
                                                      They reign as Kings
Revelation 5:10, “…and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth.” Christians reign as kings because God has made you to reign on earth.  That is why they will decree a thing in the name of Jesus and it will be established. We overcome the world.  Christians are the only being on earth that has the ability to overcome the world and all its elements. 1 John 5:4-5, “for everyone who has born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome that has overcome the world-our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

How to follow Jesus

Following Jesus is not going to church always, it is not praying always, it is not reading the bible always etc. although, all these activities are good but they do not make one a follower of Christ Jesus. Matthew 19:16-21, the rich young ruler was perfect in all of them yet something was missing which was the most important one. In the book of John 3:1 Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jew, was disqualified in spite of his knowledge of the law.              What is following Jesus? So, what is following Jesus? Following Jesus Christ is living by the word of God. Luke 4:4 and Jesus answered him saying man shall not live by bread alone, by every word of God. This is living your life according to the direction of the Word of God. It is abiding in the word of God or Jesus. John 15:4-5.     Steps to follow  ·          You must believe in Jesus Christ, John 3:16   ·          You must be born again John 3:3 ·          You must have faith in God. Heb 11:1-6 ·

Salvation is for the Living

Some people have asked if Christians could intercede on behalf of a person who died without receiving Christ, so such a person could go to heaven instead of hell. The answer is No. “For the grave cannot praise thee, death cannot celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth” Isaiah 38:18-19. Anyone who didn’t receive Christ while on earth stands condemned. In John 3:18, Jesus said, “… but he that believeth not is condemned already….”   So, the one who dies without knowing Christ, died in condemnation, and it would be of no use praying for such a one to go to heaven because the choice of whether to make heaven or not is personal one.   It’s important to realize that the salvation message is for the living and not the dead. You can only receive Christ as Lord and Saviour in response to the Gospel while you’re still in the earth. Jesus

Keys to Effectual Prayers

And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him. Lord, teach us to pray… (Lake 11:1)   When you study the lives of the early prophets and the apostles, even the Lord Jesus Christ, you’d find they were very effective in their prayer lives. In our opening verse, disciples asked Him to teach them how to pray because they observed His prayers' effectiveness. So, it’s not just enough to pray; it’s the effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous man that produces results.   There’re scriptural rules and guidelines for effectual prayers. There are some things you have to pray about continually, you intercede continually; and there’re things that you pray for only once because if you keep praying about them, you’re getting into unbelief, rather than applying faith.    Meanwhile, there’re things you’re not even supposed to pray for, because no matter how long you pray about them, God is not going to respond becaus
