Praying according to the will God has to do with the way you ask. Some people believe
that if they did not receive answer to their prayers it means that they prayed
outside the will of God, but it is not so. There is nothing God cannot do for
you, and nothing is too small to ask and nothing is too much. 1 John 14-15,”and
this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to
his will, he heareth us: and if we know that he hear us , whatsoever we ask, we
know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” This means that praying
according the will of God determines if your prayers can be heard of God. In verse
15, you can notice that the Bible says “whatsoever we ask” meaning that you can
ask anything and it will be done for you. So there is no limit to the thing God
can do for you, even if it does not exist, he can make it for you.
Do you want to receive answers to your prayers?
Here is the secret of receiving answers to your
prayers, John 15:7, “if ye abide in me and my words abide in you, ye shall ask
what ye will, and it shall be done to you.” Jesus did not say you shall ask the
will of God, He said you shall ask what “YOU WILL.” What is abiding in Jesus
Christ? It means accepting the Lordship of Jesus Christ in your life. His word
abiding in you means accepting his words as the only reality in your life. So,
if you want to pray according to his will, you must accept him into your life.
Another thing is that
you must have faith in God. Mark 11:22-24,”…have faith in God, for verily I say
unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou
cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that
those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he
saith. Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe
that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” The good news is that anyone who
has received the new life in Christ Jesus can pray and receive an answer to
anything he prayed about. Nothing is impossible to him that believes.
